Inside Temp
With the temperatures getting colder, I was just wondering what everybody keeps their thermostat at? Usually mine is set to under 65, but I also live in an apt, so I can live off some of the other people’s heat. In other news though, my power bill for this month was about a third of the price as it was a year ago.

It’s hard to tell exactly what mine is set on since it is not calibrated very well. But I generally get it pretty close to 62 at night and during the day while we’re not here, and then turn it up to about 68 when I get home. It also depends on if I’m upstairs or downstairs since it stays much warmer up here. Despite all the plastic on the downstairs windows, it’s still pretty drafty down there.
And I hear ya on the lower bill…our energy costs have been half of what they were when we lived in that crack ass apartment on Chalmers!! And that’s even adding gas and power separately!

62-63 while sleeping, 60 when I’m not there. When I’m there and awake, somewhere around 68.

60 during the day when we aren’t at home, 65 when sleeping, and 70 during the evening and morning when we are home. unfortunately the upstairs is 3-4 degrees colder because the house is so big and old.
